Highrock MetroWest Re-Launch!

Jul 1, 2021

Return from Exile!

Highrock MetroWest is in the process of forming our ministry teams to re-plant our post-COVID church at the Greendale Avenue Worship Center (GAWC), 754 Greendale Ave. in Needham. On Sundays, August 29 and September 5, we'll engage in a "soft-launch" of KidsRock (nursery - elementary-age program), SoulFood (refreshments and community after church), and a new adult discipleship ministry called Climbing Highrocks. On Sunday, September 12, we'll have a grand celebration of a Return from Exile and back to full church in-person programming!

What You Can Expect!

Most of the Sunday Worship Service will be entirely live with Kelly Shea, our worship director, leading engaging music and singing. During the service, a full KidsRock program will be held on the first level and, this season, we are designing ways to include them periodically in the upstairs worship service.

After church, enjoy SoulFood, nourishing the body and the Body (Church) with food and fellowship in our community center.

Climbing Highrocks is our new Highrock MetroWest adult discipleship program featuring ways to understand Christianity, how Christianity relates to a secular world, the mission of Highrock Church, and how to grow deeper in your faith. We're also including an exciting menu of adult discipleship programs designed by Highrock Online to meet specific interests to feed the mind and heart of faith.

Bible Study and Small Groups will be a part of our new ramp-up this Fall. More information will be forthcoming.

Highrock MetroWest Middle and Senior High Youth programs will be in full swing for the Fall of 2021, led by Michael Tabor (Middle School pastor) and James Anderton (Senior High Director).

Jog for Joy, a 5K race created by Pastor Ryan Marshall of Highrock MetroWest to benefit mental health organizations, will be held virtually in 2021 but back to an in-person race in 2022.
